1. Installation of the UPAC
Install a self-consumption production unit (UPAC).
2. Registration with DGEG
Register with the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) to obtain either a prior notification registration or an operating certificate. During this registration process, E-Redes will assess whether your energy meter is bidirectional.
3. Business Activity Registration
Register your business activity with the Tax Authority using the Economic Activity Code (CAE) 35113 – Production of electricity from wind, geothermal, solar, and other renewable sources.
4. Start the Sale Contract
Sign a purchase and sale agreement for your surplus energy.
